Around September 2025, I found myself wrestling with deep questions about my understanding of the Bible. It was likely prompted by the suggestion that I join the Evangelism Explosion training program. That led me to make a firm decision: I would read the Bible thoroughly from beginning to end.
I have just finished Leviticus in the Old Testament and am reading Matthew in the New Testament in parallel. Even with 40–50 minutes of reading each day, this journey will take two to three years to complete. Still, what matters most is that I have begun. Now I must stay consistent.
I leave this note as a record of the beginning of that journey.
2025년 9월 무렵, 성경 지식에 대해 깊은 의문이 찾아왔다. 아마도 전도 폭발 훈련에 참여해보라는 권유가 계기가 되었던 것 같다. 그때부터 ‘한 번 제대로 읽어보자’는 마음으로 필독을 결심했다. 지금은 구약의 레위기를 막 마쳤고, 신약에서는 마태복음을 함께 쓰고 있다.
하루에 40~50분을 꾸준히 투자한다 해도 전체 여정은 2~3년은 걸릴 일이다. 그러나 시작했다는 사실이 중요하다. 남은 것은 꾸준함이다.
이 기록을 그 여정의 출발점으로 남겨둔다.
