풀과 열매의 기억

이 작품은 한 시대의 숨결을 품었던 카세트 레코더를 해체해 그 내부를 바람에 흔들리는 풀잎처럼 펼쳐 보이는 설치적 기록이다.

기계의 나사와 회로, 금속의 잔결들은 마치 오래된 들판에 뒤섞여 자라난 풀잎들처럼 보이지 않는 기억의 수액과 향기를 머금고 있었다.

이제 각각의 조각은 흙 위에 놓인 작은 열매처럼 고요히 제 자리를 차지하며 한때 흐르던 시간의 온도를 다시 피워 올린다.
